Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely experience at this hotel, which is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the racecourse. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The dining options at the Crab & Moo restaurant were fantastic, and the atmosphere in the bar was a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. However, the rooms showed some signs of aging and could benefit from a bit of modernization to enhance the overall experience.
Our recent stay had its ups and downs. On a positive note, the dining experience was quite enjoyable with well-prepared meals and the location near the racecourse was perfect for our plans. However, we encountered a major issue with a rude staff member that overshadowed our overall experience; this really impacted our perception of the hotel. While the rooms were spacious and airy, they were also quite dated and in need of refurbishment.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel during my stay for the races. The location is fantastic, very close to Doncaster Racecourse, and the dining experience in the restaurant was notably enjoyable. However, the rooms are in urgent need of modernization, which detracted from my comfort, and I encountered a rather rude staff member that left a sour note on my visit.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel, which was a fantastic surprise given its shabby exterior. The interiors were beautifully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, and I truly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast. However, my experience was slightly marred by a rush during the second day's breakfast service and some misinformation about restaurant reservations. Overall, it was a great experience with just a few minor issues to note.
Staying at the Grand St Leger Hotel was a mixed experience for me. The highlights included the friendly and accommodating staff and the excellent dining options available. However, there were some downsides such as a dated room and the discomfort with the bed. Overall, it's a decent place with good dining, but it could use some updates to really shine.
